Q. Why did you decide to become an orthodontist?
Orthodontics is the most prestigious job in dentistry. It is a wonderful combination of art, biology and physics. I was fascinated by the mechanisms and possibilities of tooth movement during my time training as a dentist and this led me to specialise in orthodontics at the Royal College Of Surgeons England. Twelve years after first starting dental school and completing my Masters training I graduated as a Specialist Orthodontist and I have never regretted any of the years of learning I have done. So much so, I am still passionate about continuing to learn and develop new techniques.
Q. What is the most rewarding part of your job?
The amazing smile transformations that we achieve by not just straightening teeth but transforming the entire harmony of the face and smile.
Q. What type of treatment experience do you try to give each of your patients?
We treat each and every patient as we would like to be treated ourselves; providing the best service, results and treatment options that are customised to each patient’s individual needs. We utilise the best international cross infection controls as well as premium quality orthodontic materials and braces (both visible and invisible).
Q. What makes Invisibrace unique as an orthodontic practice?
We focus on providing treatment speed but never compromising on treatment quality. We are actively involved in training other orthodontists (worldwide) in using the best brace systems and modern techniques for their patients. We are leaders in the fields of Damon braces, facial orthodontics and lingual braces. To this end, we provide our patients with the very best possible results and all round experience from our world class team.
Q. If you hadn't become an orthodontist, what would you be doing?
I keep changing my mind with what I would be doing as I cannot think of anything better. Perhaps my next choice would be a top lawyer, as my favourite TV show is Suits!
