Orthodontic treatment for children

At Invisibrace, one thing that makes us unique is the time and attention we give to our younger patients. Children’s teeth are very important and we want to ensure they - and you as parents - have all the information you need for good dental hygiene.

Early intervention

Here in the UK it is recommended all children have an orthodontic assessment by the age of seven. At this age, children will have their adult teeth, but their teeth and jaws are still moving and developing so we’re able to see whether or not they may need orthodontic treatment in the future.

In many instances we can recommend some early intervention which will mean less or no treatment is needed later on; in other cases we can foresee any orthodontic issues that may arise and prepare to treat them in due course.

A comfortable environment

We know the dentist’s chair isn’t a place children look forward to sitting in but at Invisibrace we’ve made every effort to create an environment that is warm and welcoming and helps to put our younger patients at ease.

Bringing your child in for an early orthodontic consultation has further benefits than just getting them used to the dentist's chair. We can also:

  • Help them understand the importance of a good oral hygiene routine
  • Talk to them about how their teeth grow and why they need to look after them
  • Provide them with information on good - and bad - food for healthy teeth

Give your child's teeth the best start you possibly can by booking your child in for an orthodontic assessment with our specialist orthodontist today.
